Etna, as everyone knows , is the largest active volcano in Europe and one of the most studied in the world . Quite often the volcano offers moments of great beauty showing all its vigor with lava fountains and long lava flows descending along its slopes . At this time, we organize evening tours with the intent of reaching a viewing point and admiring the great show that only a volcano such as Mount Etna can offer.

The tours are organized depending on the type of activity  and the area affected by the lava flow as well as the weather conditions . It starts in the afternoon in order to reach the observation point by nightfall.

Meeting point: Zafferana Etnea in Piazzale Papa Giovanni Paolo II (in front of the City Park). The transfer from the meeting point to the excursion location is free and it could include off-road transfer. 

Equipment required: trekking/hiking shoes, fleece/ jumper, windbreaker/waterproof jacket, long trousers, cap/hat, gloves, water, binoculars.
